Katy Internists
Katy Internists is a full-service internal medicine clinic offering holistic and traditional comprehensive medical care to patients in our friendly, comfortable office in West Houston bordering the Katy and Cyfair areas.
Our providers are trained in treating the whole person. They evaluate how all of a patient’s medical symptoms, risk factors, and lifestyle work together. The team then collaborates with the patient to formulate a plan for the journey to wellness.
As primary care physicians, our medical team offers a range of services, from wellness exams to essential health screenings. We also treat acutely ill patients and consultation services to evaluate difficult medical cases referred from other physicians, And help educate patient's on Normal lab results further evaluation and treatment.
We also available for same-day appointment for sick visits and Are also available for video appointment with FaceTime or Zoom.
We also provide continuity of care when patients are in the hospital At Houston Methodist West, And also provide follow-up care at Houston Methodist long-term acute care and at encompass rehab and Memorial Hermann rehab.
Adil Asaduddin, MD
Adil Asaduddin, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Katy Internists. Dr. Asaduddin provides comprehensive medical care to patients at the Katy Internists medical office in Houston.
Dr. Asaduddin grew up in Alief, Texas and lives in Katy, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin, then completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Asaduddin’s first year of residency in internal medicine took place at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. After finishing his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, he then moved to the northern suburbs of Chicago, where he worked as a hospitalist at the Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals, a part of the Evanston Northwestern health care system. As a hospitalist, Dr. Asaduddin admitted and managed patients and also mentored residents in training.
After working in the Aurora, Illinois, area for a few years, during which time he was part of a committee focused on improving electronic medical record systems, Dr. Asaduddin returned to his home city of Houston in 2008 to open Katy Internists. He is board-certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians and the Harris County Medical Society.
Dr. Asaduddin lives in Houston with his family. He lends much of his spare time to Christ Clinic in Katy, Texas, where he is a volunteer physician.
Nonye Nelson, NP
A local resident of Katy, Texas, Nonye Nelson, NP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner practicing in internal medicine. She treats patients at Katy Internists in Houston.
She attended Texas Tech University Lubbock and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has practiced as a registered nurse for over fifteen years on the general medicine unit of Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and Houston Methodist West Hospital taking care of patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension.
Nonye, having a strong passion for health care and wanting to be more involved in patient care, attended the University of Texas at Arlington and received a Masters of Science in Nursing degree.
With a strong interest in Internal Medicine, she did a six-month internship in internal medicine at Katy Internists. After graduation, she returned to Katy Internists to practice. Nonye is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). When not working, Nonye enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
